Burpee Challenge

Who's ready to burn some major calories this week?  Burpee's are the ultimate full body exercise. They will make your muscles burn and your heart pound!  They are easy to add to your daily workout regimen because they require no equipment and you can do them anywhere.  Each day, I want you to try to reach your goal and fight through the burn to reach it.  It's all about pacing yourself, you want to work quickly to build intensity, but don't over work yourself in the beginning.  Good luck with the burpee challenge this week!

Monday - 15 burpess

Tuesday - 25 burpees

Wednesday - 35 burpees

Thursday - 45 burpees

Friday - 55 burpees Whoa! That's a lot of burpees.  You can do it!

Upper Body Challenge

Add this routine to your workout each day and get a little extra burn in your upper body.   

Bicep Curls x 15 (Add weights for an extra challenge.  If you don't have any weights, grab some water bottles or something you have around your house)

Push-Ups x 5

Mountain Climbers x 20

As you keep getting stronger, you may want to add more intensity to your workouts.  This week, I want to do a giveaway for ankle weights.  You can just strap them on to walk, jog, or work your lower body. Ankle weights can be used for many different exercises.  Tag @hbgcommunity and use the hashtags #hbgblog and #hbggirls to show me your progress and enter in to win a pair of your own ankle weights!
